In celebration of their 10th anniversary on July 11th, the Tiptree Courtyard Tea Room in Saffron Walden will be offering a special “thank you” with 10% off everything on the menu and in the shop that day. Enjoy a cream tea with a friend, a jar of Tiptree marmalade, or a bottle of English Fruit Gin Liqueur. Just pop in on July 11th.

The market town of Saffron Walden is the perfect location for the Courtyard Tea Room, and the team makes every effort to support local activities.”
Deborah Beetlestone, Tea Room Manager, and the team, who make fresh batches of scones every morning, have developed the popular daily specials menu to suit the needs of their customers.
Located in Rose Walk, just a few yards from Market Square, the tea room offers additional seating on the patio. Waiter service has always been important, so customers can take a seat and relax after a visit to the local sites or many shops.
Saffron Walden has many historic buildings. Sadly, the Rose & Crown Inn was destroyed by fire, and the Courtyard Tea Room is located in a relatively modern building on the site of the old stable area of the Inn.
The Courtyard is one of the Tiptree tea rooms found in interesting locations in Essex, with one in Suffolk.

The Courtyard is a bright and airy tea room in Rose and Crown Walk just off the main square in Saffron Walden. Customers enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of this traditional tea room or on warmer days perhaps, sit outdoors in the sun-trap courtyard.
