PUBLIC FARM TOURS AT THE TIPTREE TEA ROOM AND VISITOR CENTRE
Join us for a tour around our Tiptree fruit farm, nestled in the heart of Essex outside of our visitor center and factory. Experience the journey of our fresh fruit from vine to jar. The Wilkin family have been farming on this site since 1757 and making jam here since 1885.
Our exciting Public Farm Tours take place during the summer months and provide a fascinating insight into the history, heritage, and day-to-day workings of our Tiptree Farm. Guests can discover more about the farming traditions that have shaped Wilkin & Sons for generations. The 2026 season has now finished, and we look forward to welcoming visitors again in the future. Duration: Tours last approximately 40 minutes.
Availability: Farm Tours will resume next summer.
Capacity: To ensure a personal experience, each tour will accommodate a maximum of 34 people.

Tiptree Tasting Evening
The Tiptree tea room opened its doors for a special Taster Event on Wednesday afternoon to celebrate the refurbishment of the tea rooms and to the introduce the summer menu. The William Morris Strawberry Thief paper on the walls and the fresh cream and green colours gave a fresh modern twist to the traditional tea room that has welcomed visitors for generations.
