Barleylands Tea Room 10th Anniversary Afternoon Tea

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a truly special celebration at Barleylands Tea Room, marking an incredible milestone, our 10th anniversary of opening at Barleylands. The event was a fantastic tea party filled with warm conversation, smiling faces, and a real sense of community. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, as well as new customers joining us to share in the occasion.

A Few Words to Kick Off the Celebrations

To begin the afternoon, Chris Newenham, Wilkin & Sons Limited Managing Director, made a short speech to welcome everyone and officially get the celebrations underway. Chris thanked The Philpots for being such excellent landlords over the years and expressed sincere appreciation to both our loyal regulars and the many new customers who came along to celebrate with us. It was a heartfelt moment and a lovely reminder of how much support we’ve received throughout the past decade.

Delicious Afternoon Tea and Live Music

Of course, no tea party would be complete without a proper spread and guests were treated to a delicious afternoon tea, beautifully served and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Adding even more atmosphere to the day was live music from the talented Ben **, who helped create the perfect backdrop for such a special celebration. The music brought a wonderful energy to the room and made the afternoon feel even more memorable.
