Giving Back This Christmas: Donating Our Leftover Trees to Colchester Zoo
We’re delighted to share some heart-warming news from this year’s Christmas Fair. After a wonderful weekend of selling our beautiful Nordmann Fir Tiptree Christmas Trees, all grown with care on Tiptree Goldhanger Farm, we found ourselves with a few trees left over. Rather than let them go to waste, we decided to donate them to Colchester Zoo to be used as enrichment for the animals.
It’s truly lovely to be able to give back to a local charity, especially one that brings so much joy and plays such an important role in conservation and education. Knowing our trees will go on to provide fun, stimulation, and natural enrichment for the animals makes the gesture even more meaningful.
