The Barns Tea Room recently made a remarkable contribution to a garden party at the historic Cressing Temple, hosted by Essex County Council Essex Social Care Academy. This event celebrated the hard work of the social care team, but the highlight of the day was undeniably the incredible spread provided by The Barns Tea Room.

Central to the celebration were the 760 cream teas prepared by The Barns Tea Room team, featuring a record number of over 1500 homemade scones, which meant a very early start for the cook! These scones, baked to perfection, were the stars of the event. Each one was served with ample clotted cream and locally sourced Tiptree strawberry jam, creating a delightful treat.
