1.To confirm a booking a deposit of £10 per head is required with a completed booking form. Full payment, final numbers of guests and any dietary requirements must be paid and confirmed at least 14 days prior to the event.
2.The venue accepts all bookings on the basis that the venue supplies all food and drink unless you have pre-agreed that you are paying for corkage.
3. All food will be left out for a maximum of two hours. After such time it will be thrown away, this is due to food safety regulations.
4. It is regrettable but refunds of deposits or pre payments won’t be returned in the event of a cancellation with the exception of cancellations by ourselves.
5. House linen, crockery and glassware is inclusive of room hire. (Excludes balloons, flowers or any other event specific items) We will not accept responsibility for any external decorations or equipment hire.
6. All noise, in particular music must be kept to a reasonable level and comply with both Statutory and Local Regulations, inside and outside the function room.
7. Damage to the building, plants, equipment, etc., (other than fair wear and tear) caused by the booking person or their guests, will be charged at cost to the person booking the function as an extra.
8. For their own safety children under 12 years of age must be supervised by an adult at all times during the function. Under no circumstances will children be allowed to wander unaccompanied through the building or its surrounding grounds.
9. Please note that in the event of extreme weather conditions we may have to cancel facilitating the Tiptree Secret Garden Marquee for the safety of the public and our staff. Management reserves the right to cancel any function due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control or for any matter deemed necessary We will endeavour to relocate your booking into the Tiptree Tea Room or a full refund will be payable.
10. Please note we can provide gluten/dairy free items but they are not prepared in allergen free kitchens - if you would like any more information please ask your server. We will need to know of any allergies 14 days prior to the event.
