This year, we’re inviting you to join us in celebrating the most delicious day of the year at our Tiptree Tea Rooms and selected locations, where freshly baked scones, rich clotted cream and our signature Tiptree preserves take centre stage.

National Cream Tea Day is a moment to slow down, savour simple pleasures, and indulge in one of Britain’s most iconic treats. Whether you’re a jam-first or cream-first enthusiast, a cream tea is all about comfort, quality, and a little bit of indulgence.

To mark the occasion, our teams have been busy preparing something extra special…

Special Scones for a Special Day

For one day only, we’ll be serving a selection of special flavoured scones, freshly baked and perfect alongside a pot of tea. It’s the ideal opportunity to try something new while still enjoying the classic cream tea experience you know and love.

Supporting Colchester Zoological Society 🐾

This National Cream Tea Day, we’re proud to be giving back. £1 from every cream tea sold today will go towards food and enrichment for the animals at Colchester Zoological Society.

There’s also a raffle running in our tea rooms, giving you the chance to win:

•  A Tiptree goodies hamper
•  Two adult tickets to Colchester Zoo

• Essex Rose, Dedham
• The Barns, Cressing Temple
