Strawberry season is finally here, and we’re now selling our Tiptree strawberries straight from the farm in the Jam Shop, beautifully fresh and full of flavour, just as they should be!
We’ve been picking them from the fields around Tiptree and bringing them straight into the shop, so you can enjoy them at their absolute best.
A few weeks ago in the Tiptree Tea Room, we made the most of the season and served up a proper treat Strawberry Eton Mess, made with our freshly picked Tiptree strawberries. Light, creamy, and packed with fruit, it went down a storm!
But that’s not all…
You can now enjoy Tiptree strawberries and cream on board the Tiptree Bus, the perfect summer treat while you're out and about.
And we’re also serving something brand new in our Ice Cream Shed – the Tiptree Strawberry Whippy Tray: soft-serve strawberry whippy ice cream, layered with our own strawberries and a generous drizzle of Tiptree strawberry sauce. It’s as delicious as it sounds!
There’s something really special about being able to use fruit that’s been grown just down the road, and our customers loved it.
So whether you’re after a punnet or two to take home, a classic cream tea, or something cool and sweet on a sunny day, there’s plenty of ways to enjoy our strawberries this summer.
Pop down soon – strawberry season doesn’t last forever! 🍓
