Warm up this Winter with a glass of Mulled wine which uses Tiptree Christmas Conserve and Damson Gin. 

Ingredients 

  • 750ml Red Wine
  • 250ml Damson Gin Liqueur
  • 8 Teaspoons Tiptree Christmas Conserve
  • 1 Orange (Sliced)
  • 8 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 8 Star Anise

Method

  1. In a slow cooker or a pot over the hob, pour in 750ml of Red wine & 250ml Tiptree Damson Gin Liqueur.

  2. Warm the liquid through and add 8 teaspoons of Tiptree Christmas Conserve.

  3. Stir until the conserve has broken down.

  4. Add in 6-8 orange rounds, 4 cinnamon sticks and 4 Star anise.

  5. Leave to mull for 1 hour in a slow cooker or 10 minutes on a low heat.

  6. Add 1 slice of orange, 1 cinnamon stick and 1 Star anise to each heatproof glass or mug.

  7. Pour in your mulled wine and serve straight away.
